About the instructor: Elizabeth grew up exploring the neighborhood woods; now she creates visual fairy tales inspired by woodland walks, childhood memories, and dreams. She received her MFA from East Carolina University and has more than thirty years of teaching experience, including a long career at Watkins College of Art. Elizabeth’s work is in permanent collections throughout the country, including the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Vanderbilt University, and Savannah College of Art and Design. She also shares her love of the woods on nature walks and is a certified guide with ANFT, the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.
